31 HALLOWEEN MOVIES TO WATCH IN OCTOBER

My husband and I are both big on Halloween. Every year, October means decorating, carving pumpkins, drinking cider by the gallon, and of course, binging scary movies. His taste runs a little more toward the gruesome, and mine toward the fun/spooky. So every year, we come up with a list of movies to watch each night in October that meets somewhere in between. Halloweentown and Hocus Pocus for me, The Exorcist and Hellraiser for him, and plenty of old favorites we both love for good measure. As a card-carrying New Englander, I love nothing more than a crisp autumn night, cuddled up with popcorn and The Witch (my favorite horror movie).
